A couple of weeks ago I took my youth group on our End of Summer Retreat up to Kentucky, the main attraction being Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. At the Woodlands Nature Center, there are native animals on exhibit. All but the red wolf are there because they can’t live in the wild on their own for whatever reason. The wolves are part of a rehabilitation program for the species, since they’re almost all gone.
